Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>Skied in blustery but ultralight new snow the evening of 20 January. Crowds were low, conditions good, with very occasionaly glimses of the glare-ice glacier base below (on the Smith Walton trail, skier's left edge of the trail.) Skiing on a skim-coat of real snow atop a base of sno-cone crap was a refreshing change from the season to date, but far from "great" skiing. Still... <BR> <BR>The weekend promises a refresher dusting on Sunday- could be decent all weekend if the coolth keeps the crowds down.
