All of the main trails have wall-to-wall cover of mostly grit-on-glacier (not even dust on crust!), but brutally groomed enough to get an edge in it. The bumps on 10th Mt. are wicked fast in the well-polished zipper line (too fast to telemark) but taking them high, 2-turns/bump is a whole 'nuther experience, downright leisure-like by comparison.

Conifer had a lot of sno-cone crud in the mix, making it fast & sweet, with a bit of crunch here & there, while Smith-Walton had significant clear-ice glacier peeking through the unbonded loose stuff on parts of the steeper pitch. The bottom of Smith was fast & hard, but still edgable (perfect race-course material!)

Looks like they harvested a bunch of the half-pipe to fill in the patches on the lower lift's trails, but most of the jumps remain in the terrain park.

They're expecting a bit of goo to fall on Friday, after Thursday's warmup, so the weekend prospects are still good. It's a "get it while you can" scenario though- doubt they'll make it into April at this rate. But for the time being it looks a lot better than the early season- more & better cover with nobody skiin' it!
