I have this Thule ski rack which is an "add-on" to a hitch mounted bike rack.
Due to the bottom mounting point being a thin slot into which you insert the ski tails, there's no way to carry the skis protected, in a conventional ski bag. You can't get much more than the skis through the slot. In fact, if the skis have any kind of upped tail, you have to insert one at a time.
Without a ski bag, they get coated with road crap, even on a dry day. I have used a binding cover, but that only protects the bindings.
I'm on the hunt for a simple, waterproof, thin, coated nylon ski bag or "ski sleeve", if you will, to keep my boards pristine.
Can anyone point me in the right direction>?
This is the closest I've found, from Campmor, which is 420 denier pack cloth:

Thanks in advance,
