Me and the wife hit up Wolf Creek on Saturday. They have the front side lifts open and mostly the blue groomers from the top. Cover is good but lots of grass and tree tops sticking through. They were actually cutting the tops down on tranquility while we were riding. They did have alberta face open, which had some deep drifts in it and plenty of fresh lines on Saturday Morning. The snow was really tricky and variable on the few good steep lines open. Got some good light powder turns and some crusty heavy powder turns. Most of the snow was from the big Oct. storm so not suprising it was a bit wind beat in spots, but was preserving well. It was fun and worth it just for turns, but if they don't get more Thanksgiving will be a bust. If you are willing to suffer a few rocks there are lots of good lines left off the ridges for short spurts, but otherwise the open snow is pretty well tracked after Saturday. The springs on Sunday was the highlight My second favorite thing next to POW! Sorry I didn't get pix, was planning on taking some Sunday, but the springs won out over snow.
