Tons of good pow on saturday, appearantly they have had 30+ inches over the few days before saturday. Hoping that another storm blows through this week cause I am heading back up this weekend if the snow is still as good!!

I bet it f-ing rocked! That place just gets puked on. I am planning on a mid April trip to try to get into that Gibbs creek drainage by the Lobo Overlook area in the WC BC. I guess if the avy danger is high, I'll just have to settle for all the excellent BC I have done before. I'm sure that would be lame. 8)

Taos is in good shape too according the report of buddy of mine and his son skied there last week. He said he had a career powder day, which is saying a lot for him. This figures since Wolf Creek (a favorite of mine) is in the neighborhood.

Cheers,
Jeff

I was thinking of heading back up this or next week-end to try and hit some BC myself. My guess is it should be good well into may seeing how much pow we have had this winter.

I am in Santa Fe now and the temps are climbing this week to 60's plus so Santa Fe may not be good for long, but some people have told me about some great BC near I wan't to try this spring. I am pretty new to Santa Fe area so if anyone knows other areas besides the nambe chutes do tell?

Do tell? I grew up in the four corners area but I have never BCed near wolf creek.

Yeah, this has been a stellar year in SOCO and NNM, hopefully we don't have to wait too long for another year like this one!
