Based on the subject line I initially thought that each person would choose a single best action photo of the year for the thread, but since the subtext said three to four and that seems to be the trend, I added my personal second, third, and fourth place selections. I'm the primary photographer and not in as many photos as some of the other folks in the gang, but I did manage to appear in the 2nd and 4th place selections. The photographic information is embedded in the photos.

This is my favorite shot of me from last year. Taken at Termas de Chillan last August during a week that had lots of new snow but a huge amount of wind. I like the moonscape feel to it. It was taken using a Canon VIXIA HighDef Camcorder so the image quality isn't the best.
