HI, At Lake Louise this week. Snow is pretty good, but getting thin, and the sunny warmth Tuesday didn't help. Does anyone have first-hand information about conditions at Sunshine before we take the bus over there? We're staying in Lake Louise, so it's much easier to stay here. tia, Tom

It was, but we stopped in for dinner, then back to Visp. It was tempting, though.

Baldyskier: Try the Hobacks. Take Hanging Rock and Rendezvous trails from the top of Sublette to the entrance on the right. They're probably _comparatively_ skied off, but it's such a huge area that you'll find plenty of non-groomer fun in there. They've got rollovers, ridges, gullies, trees...

Great TR! We spent last week there, Feb 7-14, for some spring skiing. Nice pics of the Hobacks. It's a bit different with heavy, wet stuff, but at least the trails on top remained frozen.

Re the trail: If I ponder Google maps with satellite view, I think it might have been pretty close to Scott's bowl. We skied under the chair for 30 yards or so, skied to the left, then followed a trail around to the right with boundary signs on our left. When we saw the hill that we'd need to...
