Real snow, enough to get Baldy/Waterman to their potential? Sadly about 30% of seasons never get that much.

It's still early, the odds of getting that natural terrain covered before New Year's is only about 10%. It's been cold, so most of the snowmaking terrain in SoCal has been open for the last 10 days or so. But as noted before it's hard to get motivated for that when Mammoth had so much snow in December.
