I'm having a hard time rationalizing the shooting position. At first I though too maybe somewhere from Sloaf terrain, but then if it's the area of PM that I think it is, then it looks like the position is above and to the east of the tracks. You know where that would put it and if Tony had gone there then he would have written.....nah, he wouldn't have gone up there, so..... I'm really confused.

Ah. That explains it. Since that is one honking huge telephoto shot, there's a lot of forced perspective and foreshortening. It makes it look like an aerial shot or from high on Patsy Marley.

Only 4.5x telephoto. If I had shot a more panoramic pic the fresh tracks would have been lost in downsizing.
