Mathematical models need to be validated by reality. Otherwise they are crap. So comments are always welcome. An individual's experiences at a destination resort are rarely a large enough data set to make generalizations. As my 84 days in 22 seasons at AltaBird should demonstrate.

When you visit a ski region and ski multiple areas though, the relative condition of those areas (ie. Cottonwoods vs. Park City group) is more likely to be true to form.
