I figured it might be a hidden stash but thought I'd give it a try! Looks like a fun area.
Yeah, what Marc said...shhhhh.......
But, like most supposedly hidden stashes at Alta, if you just look and think a bit......

This definitely sounds TGRish.

I wholeheartedly agree!!!

Speaking of ski pants...exactly how IS the skiing over there???

We're enjoying continued storms...

Must be getting pretty bad over there if all you have to do is come to the western forums and poke fun...

Enjoy your spring.!!!!

And could the rest of you bring the level of discourse around here back up a bit, please?

when there was a choice between going higher, or dropping lower.
When in doubt, admin usually opts for higher  .

Yes, it did seem out of character. But those guys were pretty sure about their information. I should have followed my instincts.

If that's the indicator for bad skiing in your home region...then the west must be having a REALLY bad year. 8)

my buddy dave is a vid guy that shoots for meathead films and others. fred the boarder is a longtime touring partner of mine and great friend.

i'm not trying to stir things up here or change the thread direction. i certainly wasn't lucky enough to ski pow through aspens on 3/30. admins crew definitely looked to be havin some fun.

if you must know...last weekend was super. One powder day followed by 2 days of bluebird skies. For Central NY, that is EPIC!!!

I'm heading up to Whiteface with Acid Christ for some spring skiing and will hopefully get to ski the slides.

The following week I'll be at Stowe.

That may wrap up the season for me, though my friend is trying to get me to go to Tucks. It's a haul from here, so we'll see about that.

Last night we had some t-storms and the last patches of snow are just about gone from my land. I am finally accepting the fact the winter is over and there are only a few more days of skiing left.
