And thanks for all those super pics, Porter !! It really makes me feel better to see those pics, although I rush to believe that I just chose the wrong day !!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I must be living in hell! People are making tracks and I live at least 8 hours from anywhere with snow!!!

I can't take it any longer....
Just move to Montreal and begin a new life
or better : go to live in Franconia Notch, Conway or places like that
I don't think you guys want to be in California now. It's been 95F here for almost a week now, with a few brush fires.

It's much warmer than normal across the entire West now. Only in the Pacific Northwest are there any storms, and snow level is quite high. Whistler alpine is likely only area with accumulation.
I think that Lake Louise also got a lot of snow in the last weeks ? (didn't look to their website, though)

ish... 95 degrees in late october... I hope winter will come for you soon... at least in the mountains

Still no ski areas open... for a oct 23... ish !

Last year, Trollhaugen and Wild Mountain opened, claiming both that they were the 1st ski areas to open in the east... while they're in the middle of the states. Woodbury opened on oct 24... I wonder when they will open this year !
Hmm, finally Lake Louise doesn't have so much snow remaining... in fact, there is only the snowmaking still on the ground
Looks like snow
Here are some of the better pictures from the storm
Sugarloaf and a boarder with lots of snow
Bretton Woods on what looks like almost a foot of fresh
Ragged Mountain with an observed 8+ inches at the summit only 30 min from my house
porter
ahhhhhh... sittin at my desk, at home, going to do some schoolworks... it's so frustrating to see things like that !

but it's so close... last year, K opened on oct 25 and MSS opened on oct 31. This is just 2 and 8 days away !!!! I better forget that, though, cause I won't be able to do this work
Too bad that I didn't look to the Tremblant's cams this morning, cause I would have taken a trip there, today. (euhhh)

The Dunzee still really looks good after all the rain we got lol

(The gully going down from left to right)
