I'm back east for the holidays, glad to find such nice conditions. I heard about a few inches possible for Sunday night. Looks like SE NH would be the best bet. Any suggestions powdafreak? Looking for the right combo of new snow/open terrain. Pat's Peak looks surprisingly open, and might do decently. I've never skied there, but I think it's pretty small. Ragged has no blacks open. I'm leaning towards Sunapee, although they are fairly far inland, that have at least some vert and a decent amount of terrain open.

Crotched (thats where I'll go, wait for the BC pics), and hold your horses on the storm, I wanted to blow the whistle yesterday, but it keeps doing funky things....

Welcome home G!
I havent heard any first hand reports for Sunapee or Ragged but I would think they would be the best bet. They both have a couple galdes that are alright, nothing epic but at least they throw in some challenge. Crotched if you want to crank big GS. Crotched will proabably have better grooming, if thats what ya want
How long are you home for? I'll be headed for MW for a sled run or skin thursday, friday or saturday,or all three if its good! I've got extra sleds!

oooOOOooOOoooo.... I'm hearing 3-5" now, time to get my snorkel out. But all joking aside, it'll be nice to have some new soft stuff.
I'm a little weary of crotched mtn, dont they have 875' vert? I dont think My fam would be too excited about that.

NHPH, I'm booked up on those days, but Sunday or monday I might be able to do something, let me know.

Anyone been to MRG and can advise on conditions or if snow is adding up afer the rain .

Working those days. Fridays and saturdays are it for me unless i'm on vacation. I dont know how long you're home for but I got a MRG twofer I want to use.
You could bring your family to http://www.nelsap.org/me/agamenticus.html in York,Me. for some car assisted backcountry!Take turns picking up the group at the bottom and drop em at the top! I love that place but it really needs alot of snow.

I skied at sunapee on wed last week before the rain according to them they lost no trails and I know they do an excellent job of grooming and snow farming. You will find it the best place in south or central NH.
At 10 pm on sunday night it is snowing here in Concord and we've gotten about 3" :D

When I skied Sunapee a season and a half ago, they had one of the best seeded/farmed bump runs ive ever seen.Goose Bumps I belive. Perfectly spaced/sized bumps from t2b! What a delight!

We skied sunapee monday, kmart tues. It was pretty typical east coast conditions near as i could tell. which is pretty good considering the recent rain.
Headed to Jay for Thurs. My bc partner backed out at the last second, so i called another friend about 5 min ago, and we're leaving in 1.5hrs. Gotta do laundry and pack!
