the direct line down the middle which was close to 50 degrees.
I actually mesured it at around 54 degrees from the lip to the throat of the run.

Regarding my fall in Hangman, I could have slided all the way to the bottom if I didn't fight to stop myself. I was skiing (backward) then sliding upside down face up pretty fast.

However, this was the first difficult moment I had on this run which in the last two trip. That was probably my 13th run in Hangman's. 8-[

Since Tony mentioned the champagne I guess I should post the pictures. These were taken by the always lovely snownymph with my camera. Ignore me, focus on the champagne.

As the snow this week... it was melting fast.

I'm innocence, I didn't drink that much champagne. Unfortunately...however I had to drive into Death Valley after the festivities. 105F when I got to Furnace Creek at 10pm.

It was great to share this July 4th experience with all you guys and gals. Happy to see Tony again, finally meeting Hutash and the rest of the Mammoth Forum gang. Had also fun skiing with Cometjo, like Hutash, someone else crazy enough to keep me company in Gravy Chute. :P

Hi Tony and Patrick. This looks like a fun site. It was nice meeting you both over the 4th of July at Mammoth.

The same goes for me. Happy to have meet you and others from the Mammoth forum. :P

I had a great time again this year, hope I can make it back to Mammoth someday. (Too many places to ski, only one life to live).  Never say never, I made it to Mammoth two years in a row in June.

Welcome, skibum4now. FYI, some recent work on the board software contains a glitch whereby one of our security measures inadvertantly adds a bogus ICQ address to your profile. Sorry about that, I'm in the process of trying to figure out how that's happening. In the meantime feel free to edit your profile to remove that ICQ entry.

You'll find that this is a warm, active, on-topic community during the season, and invite you to stick around to share tales with the group.
