Mini road trip along the Powder Highway - opinions wanted

That's an easy itinerary in terms of driving. 4 days each at Revy and KH is ambitious in terms of skiing, fine for advanced skiers but intermediates may wear out fast. With your timing and the strong early season start you should have no worries in terms of snow.

Excellent, thanks Tony, we're planning on Silver Star being a nice warm up and then having some intense days at Revy & KH!

Curses! Just had a reply back from the car hire people (Avis via Affordable Car Hire) saying that they can't do the one-way car hire from Kelowna to Calgary!

I've then done some searching and can't find anyone who will do a one-way rental, so now I'm looking at using Ridebooker.com to book taxis between the resorts. Whilst this will cost about the same, and will save me having the hassle of driving, I was quite looking forward to the drives and we'll lose a bit of flexibility :-(

Has anyone used Ridebooker.com previously?

Cheers

Try Enterprise, I've rented a car in Vancouver and returned to Seattle, they do charge about double though. A lot of times the smaller airports don't allow this though.

Hertz will sometimes do it too. The trick is to find a company that has a glut of cars where you're picking up and a dearth of them where you're dropping off, which is far less likely from Kelowna to Calgary.

Thanks guys, Enterprise wanted about 3 times the cost I was quoted by Avis originally, and the other car hire places said no straight off. Looks like I'll be going with Ridebooker...
