WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!

Finally, after 140 days without skiing, today I started my season 2003-04 with an afternoon at Mont Saint-Sauveur.

This morning's pic looked excellent, but of course, 6-7 hours later, it was less looking good a bit... but who cares, it was skiable on 300' high on a black run, so it was *like* perfect. Finally, it was probably more a big test than to make it skiable soon. There was 4-6" of average on the snowpatches.

This is this morning's pic

Here is the one of this afternoon : whoops !

The West 70 had more snow than the Nordique, so I only skied this one. The snow was enough wet, but not like slush, except on the bottom completely. The grass areas were sliding just like some snow, so they were not big problems.

The view from the top skiable :

and finally, unfortunately, the pic s**** but this is me, *skiing* the lower patch, but I couldn't ski decently as there was almost no snow below this patch.

So that's it... I did 4 runs, for a total of 1200' high and my skis don't have scratches, cause there is not a single rock and the grass is perfect, in this trail ! hehehe

2 boarders went on the slope, about 1h after me, but I was the very first one to ski this season, cause there was not a single track on the snow when I arrived.

Let's pray for snowfalls !!!!!
