One of Those LCC Days

Today remains partly cloudy with flurries both in the mountains and in the Valley. Tomorrow will be the first deep blue day following this persistent storm cycle, with cloudless skies, light breezes and 29 degrees at elevation.

A nice long hike Saturday.......................would be great!!! I imagine that some deep stuff will be lurking about.

If kingslug is arriving in SLC for this weekend, Powder Mt. might be a good first call per admin's suggestion.

Anyone going??? If everyone is going to be at Alta then I wouldn't mind hitting it first and maybe Powder later in the week, maybe check out the powder cat op.

My understanding is that the Powder Mt. bus shuttle and maybe snowcat only run consistently on the weekends. If you're visiting from afar you have a different agenda than admin's Alta posse. If the powder is more than one day old but not too old/warm to be sun-affected I would highly recommend Powder Mt. on a weekend day.

Everything was running today - Powder Country, Lightning Ridge, even Diamond Peaks heli. More later.
