Does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants to eat at? It will be myself, my wife, and our 11-year old daughter who has typical kid's tastes in food (i.e., nothing too fancy, although she will eat some Japanese food). It might be nice to have at least one good meal while we're there.
Googling will reveal web sites for a number of these recommendations.
Places I've been to and recommend:
350 Main New American Brasserie - American Continental
435-649-3140
Adolph's Bar & Restaurant - European
435-649-7177

The Deer Valley Seafood Buffet - this is excellent and renowned. $60/adult, $32/child (11 & below).
Places I've heard good things about/good reviews but haven't visited:
Chez Betty Restaurant - American Continental

Grappa Italian Restaurant - Italian
435-645-0636
Mariposa at Deer Valley

Two cautions:
Chenez: Classical French - you might have this recommended to you. It's excellent, with impeccable service, but I feel it's extremely overpriced.
Zoom: owned by Robert Redford, it's apparently slid in quality a bit. Not bad, but not the great it once was (esp. at Park City prices).
Disclaimers:
Reservations are not only highly recommended, but required at a number of places. You may have to provide a credit card number when making them. (Utahns are notorious for not only not showing for a reservation, but not even calling to cancel. I know of several places where a no show with no cancel = $100 charge to your card.)
I don't have kids and I avoid fine dining with them if they're under 16 or thereabouts, thus, I have no idea how the menus would work for an 11 yr old.
Fine dining restaurants on Main Street in the Old Town / Historic district are fairly expensive. Be prepared for this. Don't be shocked at $75/person for dinner (which can easily go higher) when it's all totaled.
Not all of the above are on Main Street - some will require transportation of some sort, but being a resident with a car, I know only that some kind of shuttle bus system exists. I'll leave it to you to search out the details.
