It feels good to be skiing again.

True ! Wow, 4 ski areas opening the same day... enough amazing... especially as Killington is not on the list !

The pics and the full report will be here before 11h.

REVISED:

#1 Saint-Sauveur - QC (Nov. 9)
#1 Woodbury - CT (Nov. 9)
#1 Belleayre - NY (Nov. 9)
#4 Mont Saint-Bruno - QC (Nov. 9 - Night)
#5 Killington - VT (Nov. 10 - Mid-day)
#5 SUNDAY RIVER - ME (Nov. 10 - Mid-day)
#7 Bromont - QC (Nov. 11)
#8 OKEMO - VT (Nov. 13)

Yeah, little surprise with Sunday River today, in same time than Killington... pretty weird to see the 2 mountains from ASC opening at the same moment !

It even suprised their marketing/web people. I would have been there had they given a couple hours notice.

Hey... did I miss some messages here, but both Okemo and Bretton Woods have opened today, according to RSN and their website and nobody wrote it here !!??

So they're 8 & 9 in the east !

Frank, you're slipping:

http://www.firsttracksonline.com/news/stories/106870344691756.shtm

By "here" I talked of the No-bulls, Marc

(thanks for the link, though )

A question... when did you put this article online. I looked to the Ski News today and didn't see it.

Really weird, I never saw it today... !

I don't know for New England actually, but the temp is well under the freezing point now in the north, so I guess MSS should have begun to make snow. This should be interesting, sunday, as the 3 next nights will be good for making snow.

I don't think they will open the "Red Bird" so early, but at least if they can make wider the Nordique and build a better coverage on both trails...

Night and Day...
It's -7c outside in Ottawa at 8:30AM. Forecast High: -1c. However with the wind, if MSS blows any snow on Hill 70 today, it will be blown all the way to Avila (hahaha).

LOL !

Considering the width of the West/East 70, the snow should stay on the trail with a bit of chance.

(For those who don't know, Avila is the linked mountain to St-Sauveur... about 1 mile away from the West 70/ Nordic, at the bottom of the mountains.

I'm really eager to ski it back with less crowd (With the wind, with a little chance, I could have more snow to ski under the chairlift )
