Ski FREE at Mammoth this Friday 12/9

I'm not sure how many more ways I can put this, so I guess I'm am just going to have to have my own perception of what I feel like a $100 resort/town/village/amenities is, and again... Mammoth to ME is not a $100 "resort".

Snowave Mammoth isn't 100$. I paid 89$ last weekend. If Im going to shred the gnar with my buddy Chunder we go to Tahoe or Utah or local(Waterman, Baldy or Mt Low night session) Now I'm old with wife, kids and stuff Mammoths appeal has worn off for me I guess, everything it is way too expensive.I prefer June anyways. :ski:

Ummm, for a business that's run properly price has nothing to do with how much it costs to build lifts, make snow, control avalanches, etc. It's basically just the price that gets the most customers x price.

For example, you stay at a Mammoth property and while you're waiting for the elevator the help shows up with a roller bin full of dirty towels and sheets and gets right in the elevator with you. At a classier resort they'd know better than to do that, so if you want classy you'll remember and probably not go back. Even if you don't care too much about classy, you'll remember if there's attention to detail. Most folks will pay extra, even though it costs the resort nearly nothing.
