This was the only day of this Iron Blosam week when it got very warm as on most of my other trips. Thus it was the first day the east and west exposures softened. Temps were probably in the 40's vs. 20's/low 30's the other days.

In the morning I was skiing with Mike and Ed, both of them on their final day. I showed them Broken Arm:

Then we skied the Upper Cirque. I took this picture to show interested viewers the available entries west of Jaws:

In bigger snow years there are also skiable lines below the arrow.

At lunch I ran into Al. He was skiing with Paul Pilgrim, who was one of the original Iron Blosam buyers with Al back in 1980. Paul lives in Salt Lake and has been on Snowbird Ski Patrol for most of the past 30 years. As an MD he is called to the most serious cases which usually have to be helicoptered out. There were also 2 couples, friends of Al and Paul.

With the newly softening snow we skied a few runs near Regulator. These pics on Little Old Lady Slide:

Then between Regulator and the Gad Chutes:

Last run up the tram Paul took a few low Baldy traverses and found some leftovers, Al above them here:

Al told me Paul took it easy on us, fortunate on our 6th day. Usually Paul's tours are more like BobbyD's. I managed 22,500.

Are you making up your own names to further confuse others? What you labeled as 1 - 5 are actually known as Shots 10, 11 , 12, 13, & 14. Shot 14 is also known as The Diagonal. Under your arrow is Shot 9. Also, what you have labeled as Jaws is the chute under the letters "aw"; the chute under the "J" is the often unskiable Oh God.

I was not making up names. I was refuting the absurd contention that there were only 2 distinct lines between Great Scott and Elevator.
