So Eden Utah is the new Davos?

The whole PBR fad started with college kids making it a 'cool' beer which somehow morphed over time to be considered 'hipster' beer.

PBR is cheap stuff, not within a long reach of what I consider good beer. The only question in my mind is which beer and when will the college kids turn into the next 'cool' beer. #1 requirement being it has to be real cheap stuff.

I like expensive beer as much as the next guy, but honestly I drink mostly cheap stuff now, as in Bud, Corona, Coors, PBR.
1. Define "cheap".
2. Ignoring cost, what's the point of drinking swill that tastes like pee?

Regarding cheap: I purchased a case of Newcastle Brown Ale at Costco in Vegas the other week - $21. The mixed case of New Belgium (Fat Tire Ale is their most well known brew) was a little more expensive - $23. Alas, in Utah, Newcastle brown is closer to $2/btl.; Fat Tire is around $1.50

In regards to PBR and hipsters, that ain't the case in Brooklyn... it might be so in Portland, but that just shows me that Portland sucks.

Rob, you are one swank Brooklyn hipster if you don't think ironic PBR rivals Six Point, from Billyburg to Smith St [on tap at the classier places :-D ] - agree PBR made the arc from hipster kitsch to pop culture wave due to that nasty global recession though. Have never been to Portland.

Here I am in the Mammoth parking lot with these PBR-toting mountain chicks who scorn hipsters.
