Hey, we're now in summer !
So next season, we're going to ski ! (lol)
It's funny this year to think that a New England ski area will open in 7 days... and reopen for its 2003-04 season in 102 days.

What Killington is going to do ? Last year, it lost the first opening to the little Woodbury. They still claim to be the first to open in the last 40+ years, as Woodbury is just a little hill. But if Tenney opens a 3000' long trail on oct 1, before Killington's opening, it will break their historic mark. I don't think they already opened before oct 1, but I wouldn't be really surprised to see them try to open that soon, or at least to open as soon as possible, cause now, there is competition and it's 100% sure that it's better for our sport. For the effects of non-competition, look at the Russian's Lada cars. lol ... or look at the fact that the Killington seasons are quite less long since Sunday River doesn't compete with them.

I hope you all won't have too much pain to support the warm summertime and try to have fun, even without snow... (or just fly New Zealand, Australia or Chile, the snow season is just started, there !).

PS : If someone here wants to build the anti-summer group, I enter in the group right now ! lol.
