Summer

And while we're just trying to survive without skiing...... Duff is still on the slopes (july 19)

In regards to Okemo/Steamboat, when Vail Resorts bought Heavenly ASC backed out of the talks to sell Steamboat to Okemo, citing short term improvement in the balance sheet from the Heavenly Sale. Okemo sued ASC, saying they had broken contract to sell, however no sell contract had been signed and Okemo lost the suit. ASC has been quietly shopping Sunday River and Sugarloaf (only as a package) to investors. Sunday River is a good mountain but nobody wants sugarloaf as it is a perennial money-loser, but they refuse to sell them separately.

Thanks for the update.
I guess in few years they will just own Killington !

Hope Sugarloaf will finish to make money. If not, the only way to maintain it alive will be a cooperative in the same kind than Mad River Glen.

Hey... I'm 3 days late for this news... but here is a good one !!

We've survived to more than 50% of the summer !!! lol. We're actually at 54% !!

Also Tenney plans to open in 54 days... so 54 is the right number today (like #54 is the place to be if you're at Sutton )

61% of summer done and less than 1½ month before Oct 1 and Tenney's possible reopening.

Keep praying my brothers !
Winter is close
