Especialy when you have to work..but its such a mess..you get called off...and cant ski anything good while in uniform...

I knew the storm last week was very heavy with some rain 7,000 and below but this one was supposed to be fairly typical for the Wasatch. I just checked Evan's report and at Alta it was a typical right side up storm with 9 inches heavy snow to start and 21 inches of fluff on top of that.

I had an amazing powder day in 2009 at Snowbaisn. Lifts and lodges are amazing and the terrain is really good.

I’m currently in Sun Valley which clearly feels at lot like Snowbasin. No crowds or liftlines and soft snow, we did well for the holiday weekend.

Gee, I went to Las Vegas for Super Bowl Weekend and all I came home with was the flu (pretty sure that's what it was, I tested neg for covid). It's cut into my skiing over the last week. Not much to post in this thread.

I skied with this bunch at Solitude on Feb 13, unknowing that I was coming down with a bug. Later that day I grilled them all steaks and we had a nice "last supper". Eventually, everyone in the photo got the flu They are all good friends, hope that's still true the next time I see them?

Finally feeling better, yesterday I skied at Snowbird while a big mtn comp was being held beside Middle Chips Run. This is a lady (photo center) shooting a gap through an area called Thanks for the Memories.
