Female, 5'4", ex-racer
All-mountain/fun ski/GS race: 2003-2004 K2 Axis XR 160cm, Marker M51 adjustable bindings with 11cm integrated lifter
Open GS race/Super G race: 1995ish Rossi Energy 9something 178cm, 11cm lifter and some random 1990s bindings
Rock skis: Base bubbled 1995ish Rossi Energy 9something 178cm, M51 bindings
Salmon skis: 1997ish Rossi 9s 183cm (yup waaaaay to long)
I just got the K2s and absolutely love them. I haven't demoed any of the skis from the last 4-5 years, so I don't have much to compare it to... but these are great. Amazing to just have skis the "right" length. The K2 are easy to bend and have some decent rebound, but are not soft or hard by any means. The Rossi Energys are med-soft for a high performance ski and can give a good kick, but you have to load them up considerably to get it.
