Whiteface Slides 4/3/08

Nice pix HighPeaksDrifter!

We had planned on going to Gore on Sunday (to use up some prepaid tix I bought), but WF was skiing so well and the Slides truly delivered, so we stayed up north and continued to enjoy such a rarity.

I keep looking at my pix (and then your pix) reliving the weekend which was truly one of the high points of my winter (aside from the 4 days of thigh deep Utah powder in Feb).

I'm heading to Stowe this weekend for some soggy, foggy, sloggin. Won't be the same kind of spring skiing we had last weekend, but it will likely be my last hurrah of the season.

I'll likely be at Stowe Sunday as well.
 
I'd best stand a little more straight in one of those "shredding" pics...oh yeah, rumor has it that GP may open for the weekend...if so, I won't be there in a red jacket...that'd certainly be it for me...for this season...

It will likely be pretty quiet at Stowe this weekend, except for a large group of people that may have green plaid swatches...I'll likely be skiing with the group. If you see us, say hi...there are only a few women in this group.
 
I'll be there. Bright green pants, or another guy in all orange, XXLs on the feet.

We are meeting at the fireplace in the base lodge around 8:30am on Saturday.

I wear a black helmet with a kayakpeli sticker, mrg sticker and other stickers. If it is cold I'll be in yellow jacket, if it is raining I'll be in black Salomon jacket, black pants, gray boots (I don't stand out much when it's raining). Will likely be with Pam who wears a pink helmet and a lime green jacket, lime skis. She is much easier to find than me.

I'll look for you and also for Porter. I expect to be there Sunday only. I'll probably be wearing black pants, black and grey jacket, and a black helmet. I'm around 5'7". Not sure as of yet who I'll be skiing with--going up with a ski club so I'll figure out whose there who wants to ski what I do once we are heading up.
