    Sherburne trail, 1/24

    snowshoed up to hermit lake saturday and skied the sherburne. weather was god awful. never been so cold in my entire life and i was well prepared. there were people up there that werent prepared, they must of really been hurting. temp was 20 below, wind was howling, didnt even ask the caretake...

    im a cannon regular, however i have never skied the tuckerbrook trail. can someone give me some info on where it is exactly, where it leads, what terrain it features. ill give you my private e mail address if you would rather not post it public. thanks.

    STOWE

    fyi lesdebski, jay peak closed the hsq yesterday, not because of wind, but because of cold. it was to cold to send skiers up the hill, probably due to the speed of the lift. thats gotta be a first

    stowe or jay peak would be the only places i would consider.

    Cannon Mt., NH - 1/01/2004

    i was at cannon new years day, should of brought my ice skates, the mountain was a skating rink by noon. woods are unskiable, after skiing mittersill a few weeks ago in boot top fresh, from what i could see it there was little to no snow in places. ugly.

    BC conditions near Jay or Franconia

    was at jay on saturday. great snow in the woods. i would say they have close to a 3 foot base in the woods. didnt hit one rock, tree, all day long. they got close to 2 feet thurs/fri, but the lifts were on wind hold all day friday. saturday winds stopped, sun came out, in my 25 years of skiing...
