These are better numbers than Cannon except for March 1, and a lot better in early season.

Whiteface I only started tracking in 2008-09. Early season is worse than Hunter, mid and late season better.
I can't say for Cannon, but I can tell you that Hunter is quite a bit smaller than Whiteface. If the entire summit of Whiteface were closed Whiteface would still be considerably larger than an almost completely open Hunter. No shock here that mid/late season is better at Whiteface, less rain, more snow, and a northerly location pretty much assure that.

Might finally get to ride MH East this week. After 1-2 feet this weekend, they have announced it will be open daily thru next Sunday, the 27th... some schools are out this whole week, so that's probably the bigger reason to keep it open than the new snow. Both help, I'm sure however.

Interesting... earlier this week Mountain High said East would be open daily through Feb 27 and after Monday only Chair 11 (Mountain High Express) was open. Now I see that they say it's open daily with no end date and they've added Chair 8 (Discovery) to the midweek operations.

Those moves prove that if the people show up they will open East and it pretty much confirms what I've said that the crowds show up, even midweek, when the ski conditions are good and they stay home when they're not.
