Beer thread?

We can’t buy grog in supermarkets or gas stations here in Queensland. We’ve got to go to a liquor store. So nothing new for me.

I'm not really that expert on Utah alcohol purchases. But Tony is right about going to liquor store for more high powered versions of stuff. I'm pretty easy and usually just buy regular ABV beers from random grocery stores. One local product that is kinda fun for a visit to Utah is Wasatch Brewing Polygamy Porter and it's pretty tasty. One afternoon a couple years ago a Utah buddy gave me a 22oz can of some sort of juicy IPA while we were hanging out on the slopeside Bypass Road at Snowbird. I think it was 8 ABV. One can of beer never hit me so hard/good :-)

@tseeb Utah allows breweries who brew on site to sell beer with a booze rate over 5%. This is fine but not mind blowing. The glassware will be added to my now extensive beer glass collection back home.

It would be wrong of me not to heartedly support the local brewing scene while I’m in town.
This beer is good and my wife and daughter are getting into the spirit. Merry Christmas all.

Tonight’s brew is from a mob from SLC. Kiitos is thankful in Finnish apparently. Nothing amazing but good all the same.

Nothing too special here either, though the full can graphics are above average. Gift from a neighbor for the holiday.

Plenty of good independent brewers in the Teton Valley. Picked myself up a souvenir cap too.
